One of the worst brunches I have ever been to. The solero summer brunch was advertised on design my night and was marketed as being in the vicinity of the rooftop pool, the seating is not near the pool and you are told off for going anywhere near the pool by a rude man who I assume is the manager. Do not sell a brunch as being by a pool and then tell customers who have paid to be there to not take pictures at the pool. As a paying customer we are entitled to take pictures in the venue we paid to be in. The service is diabolical and the staff don’t appear to have a clue what they are doing, long waiting times between drinks and food and just generally miserable and unpleasant service. They then attempt to charge an astounding 15% service charge, absolutely under no circumstances would any sane person pay this. You also had to constantly look at and call over staff as they didn’t bother to be attentive. Food was average at best and small portions given how expensive it was. The elevator experience to the bar is chaotic you can stand waiting for 10 minutes on a lift up or down that then stops on every floor. Having a rooftop bar in this hotel is a good idea but executed horrendously and mismanaged. Avoid this place at all costs and spend your money elsewhere.

Solecito-oh-no! Not really sure what we paid £100 for, when we turned up and showed the staff the email they looked confused and didn't have a table ready for us. We were given the normal menu and all the food we ordered seemed to come out of the kitchen. We weren't told/offered any food from the BBQ. It rained during the evening which seemed to cause a problem for the staff, service was really bad, which lead us to raise a complaint with the general manager. Overall didn't seem like anything special, we were just plonked at a table with the normal menu, no explanation, terrible service and it's not something I'd do again.
